What
Computer Telephony Magazine (Computer Convergence) has to say about FirstClass Unified
Messaging/Communications (UM):
- There were a few things about this UM system that impressed me. Namely that it is fast, organized, and makes user's lives easier.
- FirstClass is a server-based system accessible from any 4.0 or higher web browser and it keeps voicemail, e-mails, and faxes on the same server rather than on separate servers.
-
Companies can set it up on their Intranet and employees can log in to their inbox from anywhere. The system is quite quick with almost no delay time in downloading the message from the server to your inbox.
-
The thing that really interested me about FirstClass is the workgroup aspect of the system. It enables you to set up a folder for a particular project and to assign a number and e-mail for that specific project. If there are multiple people from your company working on that project, each individual will have access to the folder and therefore have access to every voicemail, e-mail, and fax correspondence that was sent in regards to that project.
-
Like I said, makes life easier.
